"The singing in these live performances might not be first rate. The production and direction by Kasper Bech Holten, however, are outstanding. This "Ring" is among the most interesting, entertaining, thought-through, witty and beautiful productions we have seen. The singers convince through great acting and dramatic presence, and forces of the Copenhagen Opera are, as usual, excellent. We cannot recommend the Copenhagen Ring high enough. This is one of the best productions of the past decades."
